Giant Leaf-footed Bug (Acanthocephala declivis) (Say, 1832)

 

Synonyms: Anisoscelis declivis, Metapodius declivis, Rhinuchus declivis

 

 

Acanthocephala declivis occurs in southern and eastern United States, Mexico, Central America (south to El Salvador), and the Greater Antilles. It is a large species growing to 28-34 mm in length.
